Piping foot
The Piping foot with 2 grooves is suited ideally to create and sew in braids. That gives main points to home furnishing or garments. It is also possible to sew on two cords simultaneously.

Cords with a maximum diameter of 6 mm are suitable for creating piping tapes.
Fit the Piping Foot.
Set a straight stitch.
Set the stitch length to 2.5 – 3 mm.
Set the needle position to «Center».
Fold the bias tape lengthwise. Place the cord between the folded tape halves and pin it in place.
Guide the cord under the right groove on the underside of the presser foot.
Sew the piping tape together close to the cord. Adjust the needle position if necessary.
Fit the Piping Foot.
Set a straight stitch.
Set the stitch length to 2.5 – 3 mm.
Set the needle position to «Center».
Place the piping tape on the right side of the first layer of the fabric so that the edges lie on top of each other.
Sew the piping tape in place, guiding the cord in the left groove.
Place the second layer of the fabric right side on right side on the first layer and pin it in place.
– The piping tape lies between the fabric layers.
Position the sewing project under the presser foot so that the seam that has already been sewn is on top.
Move the needle position to the right so that the seam is sewn close to the piping.
Sew the piping tape in place, guiding the cord in the left groove.
