Zigzag Foot for Dual Feed

Instructions

Switch off the machine. Attach the foot as described in the instruction manual and activate the Dual Feed.

Applications

- Straight stitch seams

- Neatening edges with zigzag stitch

- Basting

- Sewing scalloped hems

- Fine edging

Stitch type: any

Stitch width: depends on the stitch

Stitch length: depends on the stitch

Needle position: depends on the stitch

Feed dog: raised

Instructions

The black button on the left-hand side ensures that the fabric is fed in evenly when sewing multiple layers of fabric (seams, denim seams, etc.).

When reaching a thick point, lower the needle and raise the presser foot. Push in the black button, thereby locking the foot in a horizontal position, and lower the foot again. Continue sewing; the black button is automatically released again after a few stitches.
