Our b33, b35 and the b05 series are compact mechanical sewing machines. Depending on the model, they are easy to operate with two or three rotary knobs, which makes them attractive for all beginners and occasional sewers. Equipped with the basic stitch options, they are ideal for everyday sewing projects.  

Our b37, b38 and b70 series are electronic sewing machines. These models offer more functions and automated settings, such as a larger selection of utility stitches, decorative stitches, quilting stitches or sewing alphabets. They also offer a high level of user convenience thanks to functions such as the automatic thread cutter or speed control. This makes the electronic machines ideal for sewers who sew frequently and want to realise more complex projects.

Our b40 and b60 series belong to the category of overlockers and coverstitch machines. This type of machine is specially designed for professional-looking overlocking of edges and sewing elasticated fabrics. You can also give free rein to your creativity with its many setting options and conjure up decorative elements with different seam widths, stitch lengths and thread counts. Our b40 series impresses with its compact design. The b60 series makes threading the hook easier than ever thanks to the automatic air threader.

With our bernette embroidery machines, you can personalise your clothing, towels or cushions in no time at all. We offer two embroidery machines in our portfolio: the bernette 70 DECO as a pure embroidery machine and the bernette b79 as a combination sewing and embroidery machine. Both embroidery machines have a large selection of embroidery motifs pre-installed. Thanks to extensive editing functions, such as resizing or rotating and mirroring, you can adapt the designs to your needs directly on the large 5’ colour touchscreen. 

With its 1,600 stitches per minute, the bernette 08 Straight Stitch is our high-speed sewing machine in the portfolio. Thanks to its fixed needle position, it is ideal for perfect, efficient straight stitches in a wide range of sewing projects, whether for making clothing, bags or other DIY projects or for quilting.

bernette offers an extensive range of accessories for your bernette sewing, embroidery, overlock or coverstitch machine. On our accessories page you will find a wide range of presser feet and machine accessories, such as additional stitch plates or embroidery hoops. In the ‘presser foot sets’ category, you will find practical combinations of different presser feet to match the respective machines. The sets consist of a selection of feet for specific applications or projects. The presser foot sets from bernette are a great addition to your quilting or DIY projects. 

When you buy a bernette machine, you will receive the most important presser feet with it. However, if you already own a bernette machine and need special presser feet, we offer application-specific presser foot sets for every machine. Depending on the country, presser feet are also available individually.

Before using your bernette machine for the first time, you should read the enclosed quick guide carefully. Here you will find all the important instructions clearly presented in helpful pictograms. You can find the detailed operating instructions for your machine under ‘Support’ or on the respective page of your bernette machine in the support area. The operating instructions are available in PDF format for printing or in interactive HTML format.

Yes, they are available. You can find all tutorials for our bernette machines on the respective product page. In the tutorials, we explain, for example, how to thread the machine or how to change settings. You can also watch these and other helpful clips on our YouTube channel.

To ensure the longevity of your bernette, you should clean and care for it regularly. The care and cleaning instructions for your bernette can be found in the operating instructions for the respective machine.

In the ‘Troubleshooting’ section of our operating instructions, you will find solutions and assistance for the most frequently occurring problems. This will enable you to rectify most faults yourself.

We regularly provide firmware updates to improve the performance of your bernette sewing and/or embroidery machine or to add new functions. You will always find the latest version on the product page of your b70 Deco or b79. If you own a b77, your dealer will help you with a vulnerable update. We will also inform you of updates in advance by e-mail, provided you have registered your machine with us. If your machine is not yet registered, you can do so here.

For the b79 and b70 DECO, you can load the firmware directly onto your machine using a USB stick. You can find step-by-step instructions here.
